About Me




Hello there! My name is Lindsey Rosendale. I'm 26 and recently returned to my hometown of Denver, Colorado after living in London for almost two years.

 In London I attended grad school at the University of Roehampton, where I completed my Master's degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology. I adored living in London, but at heart I'll always be a Colorado girl. I am a massive baseball and football fan (both types!), I love to run, swim, do yoga, and kick-box, and in my spare time I love exploring new places, soaking up the sun, and spending time with my sister and my friends.

 I decided to start a blog to document my travels after returning from Denmark and having so many pictures and things to say about them. I've always been a fan of journaling and have always kept a journal, but I wanted to share my adventures with everyone, not just the blank pages of my journal. Hence, I started a blog!

 It's been very fun and I've loved being able to share some of my adventures with you.

Hello there and happy summer! This year is actually going by surprisingly fast, like, somehow it's already July, but I'm okay with it. I have so many trips I'm looking forward to that I'm alright with these in-between months going by quickly. Is that sad? I mean, I'm enjoying the summer and the pool and cruising with the windows down and Despacito blasting (I am trash, I am aware, but it's the song of the summer!). But anyway, speaking of trips... I've got another one done! This time I stayed closer to home and had a cheeky road trip with my friend Cameron. To quickly summarize quantifiably, my trip consisted of: eight days five states (Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona) 2800 miles an elevation change of over 10,000 ft (sea level in Malibu up to 10,000 ft at Vail Pass) a temperature change of over 68 degrees Fahrenheit (45 degrees in Silverthorne, Colorado to 113 degrees in Phoenix) And many, many adventures My friend Cameron flew ...

Vamanos a Espana! (and a July Update)

Hola! Things have been seriously crazy around here lately. So much has happened since my last update! Mostly just dissertation work for me, at this point I'm five weeks out for turning it in so we're getting down to crunch time. I'm trying to manage my time though and still allow myself to have some fun while living in London. For example, I played hookie the other day and spent the whole day at Thorpe Park which is a super awesome amusement park. Instead of working on my dissertation I rode rollercoasters all day. I say it was a good trade off. Oh, and summer finally arrived! And it hasn't been messing around. We had the hottest day of the year and it got up into the 90's(Fahrenheit) and we were all dying since this country doesn't seem to believe in air conditioning. Now it's super nice weather, lots of sun and pleasant temperatures, I'm in my happy place right now. So what's new... I went to Wimbledon!! I'm not going to bore you too much...

I moved to London!

Greetings from London!! Seriously, that never gets old. Several times a day it hits me again that: 1. I am currently in London 2. I LIVE HERE NOW which means 3. I have a whole year to explore this amazing city! And trust me, there is plenty to explore. I have been in London for 8 days now, and am finally starting to feel like I'm adjusting to the time difference (7 hours ahead of Denver) and am finally  starting to feel settled. It's been a crazy week, between international student orientations, graduate student orientations, Sport Psychology orientations, and then trying to buy food and bedding and toiletries and keep my Oyster card topped up and getting a UK sim card so I can use google maps when I get lost (because it happens. This city is huge and there are so many people and buses and tubes and... well, you get it) and trying to find where laundry facilities are and getting my BRP (Biometric Residence Permit- kinda like a green card in the states- means I'm legal...
