Mountains, Deserts, Oceans, and Everything In-between | Road Trip 2017

Hello there and happy summer! This year is actually going by surprisingly fast, like, somehow it's already July, but I'm okay with it. I have so many trips I'm looking forward to that I'm alright with these in-between months going by quickly. Is that sad? I mean, I'm enjoying the summer and the pool and cruising with the windows down and Despacito blasting (I am trash, I am aware, but it's the song of the summer!). But anyway, speaking of trips... I've got another one done! This time I stayed closer to home and had a cheeky road trip with my friend Cameron. To quickly summarize quantifiably, my trip consisted of: eight days five states (Colorado, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona) 2800 miles an elevation change of over 10,000 ft (sea level in Malibu up to 10,000 ft at Vail Pass) a temperature change of over 68 degrees Fahrenheit (45 degrees in Silverthorne, Colorado to 113 degrees in Phoenix) And many, many adventures My friend Cameron flew ...

Well hello there! It's been a while... I know I've been gone for a few months, but trust me when I say that nothing really exciting has happened in most of the time I've been gone. I feel like I changed so much in the year and a half I was in Europe, and yet I've come back to things being almost identical to the way I left them. This is good and bad. Good because I know exactly how everything works here and where to find it, bad because I'm already feeling stuck here again. To combat feeling stuck, I'm spending all my money on travel (so really, nothing has changed). I've got not one, but TWO trips to ...

I know it's the middle of February, but I have to start this post by saying Happy New Year! And so far 2017 has been a crazy one. First and foremost, I graduated from uni! And it was a wonderful and emotional day. Luckily my best friends and flatmates were there graduating alongside me, as well as some of the most wonderful people I met in London. Friends flew in from all over to walk across that stage, and it was so fun cheering on my friends as their names were called. We all worked so tirelessly for our degrees and it was the perfect ending to my time in London. My Chadwick Girls, Imani, Devin, and Becca Several days after graduation, I packed up all my belongings in that magical city and flew back to Colorado. My visa in England was expiring and I was unsuccessful at finding a job that would sponsor me in the UK. I landed in Denver on the 27th of January exhausted and emotionally drained, collapsing into the open arms of my waiting family. As much as I knew I wa...
